VIVAT joins the march to end human trafficking

On 10 February, about 25 members of VIVAT International joined the march for anti-human trafficking in Rome. The march was organized by Talitha Kum, the organization formed with the Catholic female religious congregations to end human trafficking all over the world.

A big group of religious gathered at Castel Sant’Angelo and marched to Piazza San Pietro. The group joined the Angelus and Pope Francis invited the people “do not forget, together we fight against human trafficking”. Pope thanked many religious sisters for their tireless work on this issue.

VIVAT International works on this issue in various countries as well as at the UN, and in both levels VIVAT closely collaborates with Talitha Kum.
